Wrong thing to say...talking about yourself too much. You should have said, "Yeah I had a crappy date blah blah blah, lets go out sometime. If you really want to hit it, you gotta let her talk about herself all night (Cause she seems conceited) and actually pay attention and make her think that you are having a great conversation (even if she does all the talking).
