It's dumb to be trying to "sup up" your mommies or daddies car.
they only want it to drive to and from work and the store. you want to beg them to borrow it on the weekends so you can take your friends out for a ride. 
Save your money and buy YOUR OWN car and THEN fix it up.
its my car, my dad basically gave it to me instead of having me work my ass of for a car. I pay for my mods and generally my mom wouldnt care but since i was in an accident a while back she has started to get more involved with my car because my dad pays the insurance as well. Ill probably get some shit because my car was given to me but whatever. The car is in my name and its basically mine to mod or whatever but my mom wants to make sure i dont **** the car up or kill myself.
