I was just kiddin about the Acura master cylinder. I really was
talking about the master cylinder currently on the car,
which is the original that came with the car. There is a company
name or symbol on the side of this master and it's not Honda or
Acura. I ain't chasing off to any dealers for anything that I need for this car if I can find the parts locally. I really don't understand
the part pricing system that car dealers sock you with but they
skin you. Anyway almost all the various parts on all cars are made by
contractors and suppliers. Those who wish to
be so-called purist and shop at the dealer are leaving money on the table unneccessairly IMO. Genuine Part's which is NAPA has
been around for a long time in the after market parts business
so they must be doing something right.
