I say no for those as well. Still allows for the same problems I mentioned before. How often will you really need to adjust cam gear? So unoften that you could remove your valve cover and the upper timing cover to make the adjustment and reinstall the cover.
It's a mod for looks, not for usage.
It's jmo, but I think that it brings a reality to the situation. 
I know a few people at my school that adjust it maybe 2 or 3 times every other week.
People do some interesting things at times..
