I just picked up a CP products air intake for my 98 EX. It is your typical polished tube but has the stainless-steel filter instead of the K&N style or foam filter. I've always used K&Ns on my previous cars, but got a good deal on the CP.

Are these any good? Are they crap? How do the filtration levels compare to a K&N-stlye filter? I know that an intake is an intake (unless hooked up to a turbo/supercharger), but I just wanted to make sure that these aren't going to hurt engine performane.
