87 Accords do not need any special mounting hardware. The radio you are putting in (if it is a DIN size/style) will ahve a cage/basket to mount in the hole where the radio will go. The factory radio will come out with out having to remove those side panels if you have the correct tools. It is easier to do from the passengers side. Lay down so you can see up behind the radio. There should be 2 8mm/phillips screw/bolts that hold the radio in the dash. Also to make it easier you can remove that module that is in the way behind the radio. It should be held in with 2 10mm bolts, 1 on each side. Other than that it is a pretty cake job.
