A couple years before I got to my college, someone passed around bubblegum that was laced with acid... Eventually the proctor got all of them to line up, and he led them into a wide open field, and told them the story about the Great Pumpkin, and if they waited long enough and quietly enough, the Great Pumpkin would appear!

Some of them swore they saw the Great Pumpkin :chuckles:
