For some reason Honda people tend to be overly uptight about putting certain badges on certain cars. There are plenty of VW Jettas running around with Bora badges, GTIs running around with Golf badges, all kinds of BMWs with ///M badges, USDM RX-7s with RZ badges on them, etc. Yet one little Type-R sticker on a car that for all intents and purposes is better performing than an ITR and looks exactly like an ITR gets mass quantities of panties in a wad.
I wouldn't do it myself but it's a far cry from being ricey enough to bother me.
As in avid euro enthusiast I will assure the BMW guys get reemed like no other. Bora is Jetta so thats not a big deal but there are still a bunch of anti bora guys.
