tire question (possibly a dumb one)
ok so I have an old set of rims in the garage that I'm planning to put on the wifes car, but they need new tires. they used to have 205-40s on them but I"m wondering if I can put on a different size, something a little thicker for her, like 215-45s or 225-45s. does it matter if I switch up all the numbers as long as I stay in the 17" range? hell for that matter would a 50 series tires still fit? BTW she has a 03 civic ex coupe
