I think that this will work.

The mechanic was right about the sensor. Sucks you got so screwed...

FatBooty has really been a good source of info on this thread. I suggest you listen to his wisdom.

I'm sure that it's an ECU problem though. It's looking for a sensor that isn't there at all and trying to compensate for it. You have to get an ECU that isn't looking for it - basically the one FOR that motor.
