yeah when i do that i dont shift fast, theres no need to hurry up and get to 5th...I can kinda see how it may be ahrd since one end was spinning and now the other end is, but it really doesnt make sence that it would casue damage, unless as you said dumping the clutch at 5k in 5th and making the everything spin down to 1800 in half a second...

But i was wondering cuz i dont want to go to 3rd, not accelerate, 4th, not accelerate, and then to 5th, seems pointless UNLESS i were to just run through the gears, not engaging any of them, on my way to 5th, maybe i should do that?
