You could get a brand new D16Z6 for a lesser price than a B series swap. Not as much power but you'll get at least 200k out of it. They are also very capable fo making a decent amount of HP too. I paid $390.00 for a brand new short block for the D16Z6 in my VX and $150.00 to have the head off of my old D16Z6 rebuilt. Definately cheaper than buying a used car that could break anytime. A B series swap from a reputable place is also a way to go but you never really know what you are going to get. The first B16A I bought for my CRX supposedly only had 30k on it but blew an oil pump after 20k with nothing done to it mod wise. But I alos know guys who have been swapped for years with no major problems. You have many options.
Where did you get your D16Z6 from? How much would a complete swap be for it?

Well, how well would you trust having a '97 GSR to drive around?
im just worried about getting a engine from the right company, I heard good things about a few companies, where did you all get yours?
