I had a clarion for a short time and hated it actually. I had this wierd static noise that would come through my speakers, and I couldn't figure it out. I checked all ground, power wires, even replaced the speakers, only to find the HU was the source of the static noise. So I put a Kenwood HU in, and BAM, no more static
