While that may be true in lower level courses, in 3000+ courses there's almost no memorization. It's all analysis and research, comparing one era/war/leader to another, charting the flow of ideas and technologies, and reading 5-10 books in order to write one 10-page research paper numerous times a semester. Some of my classes don't even have exams, just massive research papers.

That said, my history major is still easy. :fawk:



It's just not memorization.
