Currently all I buy is Craftsman because honestly as much shit as people like to talk about Craftsman I see a ton of Craftsman stuff in a lot of mechanic's boxes. Snap-on is better all around I'm sure but most of their stuff just isn't worth the money. I've never broken a Craftsman socket, I've got bolts stuck in them though but thats not really the sockets fault. I took it back to Sears and got a new one no questions asked. If it was Snap-on I would have to wait a week for the truck to come around work. Screw that.
Yeah Craftsman seems to work well with me too. I've used Snap-on tools and it does feel better but I don't know if it's worth paying so much more. Although I haven't heard of Snap-on tools breaking much at all.

The only thing that sucks about Craftsman tools I think is that, depending on which tool, if you break it and replace it at sears, they give you a refurbished tool back. My friend had a broken ratchet replaced and he ended up getting an old school Craftsman ratchet back. I know with Snap-on they just replace the tool.
