I used mine on a stock flyheel for about a year and had no problems.
They are very streetable clutches although it takes a minute to get used to the engagement...but it isn't as severe as people think it is. If you let off wrong you will feel a bit of a stutter but you learn to manage it so that it doesn't happen at all in a rather short period of time.
I daily drive mine and have been using the 6 puck clutch for nearly 2 years now both on the strip and the street and have felt no fade as of yet.
My personal opinion is that it is a good and rather inexpensive investment.
Cool, i have been looking to prelace my clutch, soon as i get the money, i almost had it then my stupid ABS had some issues that set me back 500 bucks...
I do have a question though that pertains to the stock, street and racing clutches...lets way when your launching (or just going whatever) and you have an acedent, and you lets say didnt give it enough gas, and you feel that shutter, OR you do have the rpm's up and you 'pop' the clutch is there anyrisk of damage to engine internals from these actions? It seems like there would be a lot of stress on things in there for them to have a huge load THROWN on them all of a sudden, or have a load the engine is not being given the chance to build up enough power to deal with...sorry to whore this thread, but i have been wondering this for a while...
