For a serious turbo car the best motor to start with is a b18c1, it is a great motor to build.

For a fun time i'd turbo an b18a/b. I used to have a turbo b18a and it was a blast.
If it is so retarded to turbo an ITR, why then are there several ITRs making well over 400whp that are still very streetable?

If done correctly, a turbo R can be a very impressive car. I agree that an LS/turbo would be good also, but there is nothing wrong with turboing an R, nor is there any reason not to. (i.e., high scompression)
