For the highball crowd, there are lots of Ferraris to be had. Let's set the reasonable ballpark at 308s and up as the border between something you'd drive and something you would collect. That's a fair number of different models, all of which someone with the "keep up with the Joneses" is going to label 'A Ferrari' and have done with it.
On the other hand, here you have this brand new low production vehicle which hasn't been produced in 40 years. You know no one on your block or at your work has one, and you know they don't have anything similar. That's big flaunting incentive.
