Depends on what what engine you choose, and which parts you use. You need to do some research and figure out precisely what you want to do before you'll know how much its gonna cost you. Most piston/ring kits go for around $500, and good aftermarket rods can range from $300-800. Eagle H-beam is a decent rod for most applications, and is one of the cheaper ones.
