Yeah....it's not really fair to compare an old import to getting a new domestic. You have to compare getting an older import vs. getting an older domestic.

Seriously though, provided you are technically inclined, you can make a much faster domestic vs. an import for the about the same amount of money. The domestic may not have the best handling around the twisties due to their size and weight, but the power in those things are amazing.
