If I went with domestic "muscle", it would be in the form of:
1) a C3[74?-82] Corvette
2) Plymouth Road Runner, or my particular favorite...
3) the Plymouth GTX.

Any example of these classic "muscle cars" that I'd consider worth buying would rightfully command around 30K.

So, by holding myself to the same spending limit, it's very true that one could take a DC platform Integra, a S14 or a number of other platforms and make a very potent street machine.

That said, I don't think I could stay entirely within one "camp" or the other. In other words, I appreciate excellent design, regardless of manufacturer. And the two driving experiences are significantly different from one another, that I'd ideally like to be able to enjoy both.
