WEll went out cruising tonight. me and a couple buddys of mine. Drive around the city and some outlying areas. Anyway when I started my car and it started a little rough didnt think anything of it, figured i was a little low on gas but thought i still had plenty. 260+ miles since last fill up and No gas gauge light came on yet. (broke fuel gauge needle last year when i was putting in gauge facesh: ) anyways Driving along drive right past a gas station then about 1/2 mile down some dark back road the car starts to hesitate, then all of a sudden about 1/2 mile further car just dies. Friends start laughing at me. Try starting the car several times and just wont catch. call other friends to bring some gas. they are just about leave to come there and all of a sudden my car starts on like the 6th try.

Completely baffled i just jump in and drive and fill it up. Put in like 11.5 gallons How big is the tank in a 99EX anyways?

Cars Fine now but that would have sucked if I had to walk or wait for Gas. Well at least now i know that I cant trust the fuel gauge light and i think it is time to order the new fuel gauge
