yea that's what they recommend in the manual. you should at least get it drained and filled (~3.5 quarts) with Honda ATF at least once a year. Or you can actually get it flushed (~10+ quarts) by hooking it up to a machine and they actually vacuum all the fluid out. Either way, you should change your ATF.
On the auto 5th Gen Accords its 2.5 quarts. Not sure about manual 5th Gens.
