You need to decide if you ride goofy or regular as well, some people I have seen, think they are regular and have a hard time, and we end up switch their bindings so that they are goofy and end up riding alot better.

I would also put your lead foot at 15 degrees it seems to help people I have taught start out. When I buy decks I get a deck that is up to my chin. If you find a well known shop, they will generally help you figure everything out as well
