Actually, Honda has this registered as a recall problem on many Accords. Two of my four had to be resent back to the dealership to get the fuel sensor replaced because what the engineer told me was that the gas that is burned creates a layer of _____ (forgot what chemical it was called) which covers the sensor and therefore it gives you bad readings. They just replace it under warranty if you're a 6th gen.
