Yes, but information that wouldn't fly in a court of law shouldn't be used to explain US actions. Makes us look like we ran off all half-cocked (which we did) and now we're making up for it half-assed (which we are).

They were still a terrorist organization, the difference is we weren't the objects of the terrorism. Which is really the dividing line for "good" terrorists and "bad" terrorists in classic American thinking.
