Hey dude be a little more patient man, it's not like I'm a 24-hour help line or something.

The first thing you should try and do is reset your ECU. If the problem has gone away then the code will not pop up again. If the CEL comes on after you reset the ECU then you need to check the code again to see if it's the same one and then troubleshoot the code.

All you have to do to reset the ECU is to pull the fuse labeled "BACK UP" in the engine bay fuse box for 15 seconds. This will clear the memory. Before you reset the ECU you should turn off all accessories (fan, stereo, lights, etc). Then after you reset the ECU you should start up the car and let it idle up to operating temp. Don't touch any pedals or turn on any accessories.

Anyway possible causes of a code 54 are a CKF sensor that has gone bad, the sensor is just unplugged, or there's something wrong in the wiring. But assuming the code goes away then you don't have to worry about that.
