damaged parts list:

right side panel broken
left side panel scratched heavily
headlight assembly busted
windscreen & front fairing busted
instrument cluster busted
right hand control completely sheared off
front brake master cylinder busted
both mirrors broken
tail section severly scratched
tank - 2 dents

more than likely it'll be totaled

as far as rear braking, there was a black mark about 10 ft long & kinda corkscrew shaped before the long one going towards the pole. the best i can figure is i grabbed the front brakes hard (dual 320mm calipers) & they locked up. when this happened i must've panicked & switched to the rears & then they locked. the grade of the road was to the left, so that is the direction the backend took.

i had gotten excused from jury duty & it was a nice day so i decided to take it out for one last ride before winter set in & i had to park it. i had been down that road before & knew the turns, but that day i was just doing a leisure ride, not laying down & riding hard. i don't know what happened other than i lost concentration or was distracted @ the wrong time:dunno:

i don't know if i will get another bike or pay off some bills w/ the insurance. i'm considering just paying off some things & come next summer going & get me a harley (which is what i really wanted in the first place). i decided to get a "crotch-rocket" & get it outta my system before i bought a harley.

well guess what....IT'S OUTTA MY SYSTEM!!!! :lmfao:
