Default My über short review of TXR3

Likes:

1. 600 rivals to eventually battle with.
2. The ability to race with multiple rivals at the same time.
3. More track (almost double).
4. Some cosmetic items like paintjobs, license plate placement, and window tint COLOR :ghey: and darkness are free.
5. $20.

Dislikes:

1. Every other car on the road (common traffic) other than the rivals are yellow Genki vans,
2. Parts of the track from the old game no longer exhist. The turnoffs to them are turned into "Pit Stops" where you can change settings and let your car cool down when it gets too hot (after about 6-7 races).
3. NO HONDA Although the only car useable throughout the previous games from them was the NSX.
4. You start out with the choices of about 7-8 cars to buy. This is not because of monetary defeciency, but more like you have to find and beat the rival that drives the car you want to buy.
5. Gay-ass "rock" music. They should have kept the old music and sound effects for menus.

I can get over most of the dislikes except for the fact that they changed the idea that you are racing on the highways in Japan into some sort of bastardized "track". Don't get me wrong, the layout and look is exactly the same with overpasses, exit ramps, and tunnels as in all other games in the TXR series, but the Pit Stops and yellow Genki vans sortof convey a more racing track oriented feel. Overall I love the game it's a definate good buy for $20.
