Wow. I never took the safety class, so i never heard that. Seems odd, I wouldnt want to get into the habit of using only my rear brake. Ive been using my front brake since i used to mtn bike race at age 11, knowing that is where you get the most stopping power.

Im slightly confused. Why are the chances that if you are using your rear brake that you are riding more carefully and safely? Are we gambling here? And whats does Looking more aware have to do with being more aware of whats going on? I dont see what determines these things as being any more safe than if you were paying attetnion, and still using the front for 75% of the braking.
