Porsches with the huge ass rear spoilers put down a much higher downforce that the Ferraris. What is baffling me is that the Ferrari numbers are so low, at Indy none of the Modenas had spoilers but all the 911 cars had them. Makes me think that Ferrari did a better design with the weight ratio than Porsche.
Edit it makes sense, stock 911s tend to be a little bit like airplanes at high speeds and want to lift off. Maybe thats why the modified 911s used at the Porsche cup needed the huge ass spoilers. Also explains why Porsche is now getting spoilers on most of their street cars.
:werd: the 360 also uses venturi tunnels on the bottom of the car to create suction, where as the 911s do not.
