I agree. Went to Toyota back in 2000 when I was looking for a new car. Took the Celica GTS for a spin, and asked the salesman in the back seat when the VVTI-L kicks in and he says "what is VVTI-L? This car doesn't have that it's only a DOHC 1.8L"
So I got on the highway and shifted at redline, and he peeps up and says "Oh yeah this car DOES have the VVTI-L system thing". DUMBASS!
Pulled back in the parking lot and threw him the keys and said "You just lost yourself a customer".
