22.646/23.469 = 96.493%

So if you're now driving at 60mph you're actually going 60mph * 96.493% = 57.896mph. Close enough, eh?

Holy Crap! Wow

Why are you using wider winter tires?
The rims that I took off my Si parts car had that size tire on it, thus I slapped the same size tire on them. No more sliding down the freeway backwards for me like last year...no more sliding into taxi cabs and it costing me $1200 bucks like last year. People say I'm going to notice the difference driving with winter tires in snow and on ice...hell I already notice the difference on bare pavement...it's called driving with tread!
175-185 is not a huge width difference anyway...it's only 10mm...and if it gives me that little extra bit of grip...great.

Ditto...it's nice to get an answer too...no matter how dumb the question (and I'm full of dumb questions when it comes to cars!)...I've noticed a lot on here lately that a lot of people have gotten away from helping each other and instead are making fun of the person for asking a dumb question...well, it may be a dumb question to you but not to the person asking it...thanks to all of you guys for helping with my 'dumb' question it is greatly appreciated...
