I believe you are confusing your own privacy with freedom. What specific freedoms have you lost as a result of the Patriot Act? I know that I have not lost any, and as long as I am a law abiding citizen I do not think I ever will. And as for my privacy, as long as I do not go around creating a pattern of suspicous activity I am not going to be giving the government any reason to invade my privacy. But if for some reason they need to I will gladly open up and give them the information they need, because I have nothing to hide and hope I can aid them in their investigation in any way possible.
