I recently did my timing belt and nothing worked, I even tried a 450ft/lbs torque air gun. Finally I got a long 1/2 in breaker bar and held the balancer tool, my dad got a 4ft pipe and put it on the end of another breaker bar attached to the crank bolt. after a couple of tries, it finally came loose. Keep in mind all this was done w/ a motor on a stand.

If the motor is in the car, my recommendation is to go rent yourself a 650ft/lbs air gun, other people on this forum have had luck with that method.
