How recently did you come out to them? I've known very few families that were able to accept their children coming out to them within a reasonable amount of time... I usually seen it take somewhere around 6 months to several years... and hell, one of my closest friends is Bi, but she will NEVER tell her family because they are traditional Indian Muslims...


But my key piece of advice: Show them the love and understanding you would expect from them. It will take a while, but as long as they see you are the son that they love, and that nothing has really changed, they will understand eventually...
