I've been giving this a lot of thought lately. I graduate college next summer, but I know I won't be ready for the industry (animation) when I get out, so I'm planning to take a year off to work on my portfolio. My best friend invited me to live with him and his gf in Houston. Houston is nice...not a lot of hotties, but a nice place nonetheless. Very flat... Ain't no San Diego though. :fawk: Rent is 192873891623781293691782x cheaper than SoCal, which is a big plus. I could probably finish paying off my Integra while paying rent in Houston. I also want to get as far away from my asshole stepdad as possible.

However, a big part of the industry is located in SoCal, so I'd have a better chance of finding a job if I stayed here.

Any input?
