the wireless signal booster isn't going to help your internet speeds much. it just helps the distance the signal goes. if you've already got a decent signal (and it's not low) then it's going to do nothing. 200 sounds about right from a regular server. to get higher rates, you'd have to be connected to an ftp server. go to www.dslreports.com and do the speed test. that'll tell you the max you can get with your line.
No, the max tranfer rate I get between 2 pc's on my network is 200KBps, my internet dsl max's out at a measily 88KBps

I want to boost the signal so I at least get 1.5MBps, 802.11b is capable of 11MBps so I'd like to get about 1/10th of it
