A few years ago I put Mobil 1 in my old '80 Honda CB650. The engine ran smoother, quieter, and I gained 6 mph on the top end. Some people say that you shouldn't put synthetic in a motorcycle because of the wet clutch, but I have had no problems whatsoever, and have switched between synthetic and mineral oils several times. I have Mobil 1 in my '95 Accord V6, as well as my '92 Yamaha FJ1200. It really does make a difference. Plus in cold weather, you can't beat it because the oil stays fluid at -40.
