I don't like the "ball-shaped" knobs... I have a DC SS and with it's reduced height, I prefer the long "cylinder" shaped knobs because it goes well with the way I shift into 3rd... just push forward between my thumb and pointer finger. I've never miss-shifted 3rd into 1st and blown up my engine yet...
