Buffing is not going to change the color. If it doesn't match then they did a poor job on color matching. Your old paint could possibly be faded so its 50/50. Next time get them to spray a test pannel and then match it up. Buffing will do you no good. HTH
He's right, buffing will do nothing. They should have matched the color better or blended the color into the adjacent panels so the color difference wouldn't have been noticeable. Take it back!
