He had the stock shocks for 2 years, then recently switched to Neuspeed-Koni Yellows.
IMO, I personally want to get the new shocks+springs at the same time, so if I ever have to return the car back to stock in the future, the stock shocks will be as good as new (instead of being all worn out after being used with lowering springs). Also, if you are planning on using the lowering springs with your stock shocks for a long time, you will most likely have to replace the stock shocks with aftermarkets, so you would have to do the install all over again.
