If his 2 friends broke the transmissions by muscling them, do you really think a brand spanking new tranny from Honda is going to be *that* much stronger? They're all made of the same stuff. Also, since they are all Honda parts, it's a bit hard to state that he bought crappy parts. So, no, it's not like someone asking why their crappy APC tails leak and the stock ones don't.
