Who ever said all of this is going down because she's, young, white, and female... I agree... (I think it was Spood) She's, in America's eyes, the ideal American girl. A god fearing girl who loves her country, her family and her man. I.e. INSTANT adoration by the american puclic. The media realised this... it's a sad example of the propaganda fed to the American's glued to their TVs during the duration of the war.
"HEY! We didn't find any WMD... BUT LOOK AT THE GIRL WHO GOT INJURED! SHe's young!! (Hey.. wait.. no don't look at that thing that says Bush may be wrong.) LOOK OVER HERE!! ALL-AMERICAN GIRL RESCUED!!!"
This girls name is now embeded into the minds of every American out there.
And Mandi.. I'm sorry.. but you said this happened to a black woman as well. I don't know her name... I never heard her story. :dunno:
I respect the compassion you have for her, I'm not saying the girl doesn't deserve compassion. But.. she was picked out for those exact reasons. Young, white and female.
It's just a sad fact of the way things go.
