Have any of you guys ever looked in a service manual? even the cheap ones from Autozone tell you what kind of fluid to use.

Honda transmissions will use either Honda MTF or (as manual stats) A 10w-30, type s/sh grade compliant motor oil. Honda trannies DO NOT AND CAN NOT run with the heavier weight (80-90weight) trans fluids.
