from what i'm being told, it's one of 2 things:
1. the PCV valve is rotted, and that's not too bad because the parts are only $10 and it's something i could fix in the parking lot.
or
2. a vaccum leak ... which i know i can't do.
my brother is coming up here Saturday morning with a new valve and we're going to try that. if it fails, there's a local dealer in DeKalb who will do the vaccum repair. if it's not too much trouble, i might need a ride out to the dealer sometime during the week to pick up my car if it isn't finished on Saturday. :happysad:
