My car sits in a parking lot from Monday - Friday and is started and driven maybe once between those days (on the weekends I put almost 300 miles on it)

I started the car tonight and the car's initial RPM's started out at 2K ... which is pretty high. Then the car began to rev itself between 1,200 and 1,800 repeatedly. it was like someone was stepping on the gas pedal and releasing constantly. I thought that the cold weather was making this happen, so I just let the car idle strangely for almost 4 min while the temperature needle got off of “C”. The entire time, the car would just repeat rev’ing.

I tried to rest the ecu to see if that would help … nothing.

Any ideas?



btw ... it's a 2000 Accord V6
