Which is faster when modified is such a relative question it's almost pointless to ask. A hacked together H22A swap with the wrong sized turbo and crappy if any tuning will get it's ass handed to it by a properly perpared and well tuned B18C1. Despite what technology has to offer, the old saying "there's no replacement for displacement" still holds true though. Personally, I'd go with a B18C1. Better aftermarket support, motor fits without modification and more people have done it before you so they figured out most of the problems.

Can we say apples to oranges? I don't undertand your logic or lack there of! How could you possibly compare a "hacked together H22A swap with the wrong sized turbo and crappy if any tuning" to a "properly perpared and well tuned B18C1". That just makes no sence what so ever and is quite ignorant if you ask me. Lets compare apples to apples... a properly perpared and well tuned H22 can and WILL stomp the shit out of a "properly perpared and well tuned B18C1".
There are plenty of turbo kits made specifically for the H22 so how one could screw that up is beyond me.
With mounts from hasport, place, hcp, enjo, etc. the H22 is a straight bolt in swap just like any other motor. As for modifications needed to put the motor in... that is just not true. There is no modification but rather the removal of the passenger side frame rail mount.... and really it doesn't have to be removed completely... it can be cut back an inch or two so that it doesn't interfere with the shifting mechanisms on the tranny.
Trust me when I say this. I have the H22 in my civic and a buddy that lent me a hand putting my motor in who has done plenty of B-series swaps said mine was just as easy as any other swap he has done.
As for weight, that is another null issue. As stated previously the H is only 75lbs more than a B. Put your battery in the trunk as I have done, get a cf hood, lighter wheels, etc. and the weight difference is hardly earth shattering. We're not talking about weight differences like exist between a domestic and an import but rather a 30 - 40lb max difference after some weight management between the B and H. I think the displacement, torque, and whp, of the H especially a boosted H more than makes up for any weight difference. :fawk:
BTW... I would definitely recommend the hasport mounts over any other available.
