Not true because they had said in the first Matrix that they don't usually free older minds because they depend on the Matrix too much.
Now being as it is then that means there are tons of older humans in the fields still producing power, and many newer ones being bred in the harvest fields......What the Oracle asked was "what about the humans that
want to be freed?"
In other words it has to be their choice which means that up until an age they will still be used as batteries until they develop free will.
Over time the people of Zion will grow and exceed their boundaries and once again there will be a revolt against the machines or vice versa....but it lends itself rather nicely to sequels without ruining the original integrity of the films
