I've thought about doing this as well. The theory is that you could hit up a junkyard and get an 5th gen EX axle with the disc brake assembly and put it on the LX. You'd need some new wiring and to change the ebrake setup as well as a new slave cylinder. Thats just for starters though. I speculated on this with someone who had a good idea of what it would take but we don't know whether it would work or not.
